Industrial maintenance & repairs
by means of laser cladding
Industrial service for remanufacturing and repair of metal components
Overlay welding for
Industry, energy & mechanical engineering
Wear mechanisms such as abrasion, corrosion or cavitation often lead to damage to shafts, housings or other system components. However, a damaged component does not have to be replaced. Laser cladding offers an economical alternative to a new part, especially for expensive or difficult to procure components.
We take on maintenance and repair projects - from damage analysis to ready-to-install components. For all industries.
Damaged areas are reconditioned to high quality standards and exceed the previous service life, which is far longer than conventional repair methods.
Laser deposition welding, overhaul & repair welding
We offer you a comprehensive service package for industrial maintenance, reconditioning and remanufacturing of metal components for various industries. We find the optimum solution for every requirement. Using laser deposition welding, we process Stationary components weighing up to 5 tonnes at our site in Upper Austria. For heavy or non-transportable parts, our mobile service for use.

- Solutions for different industries.
- Stationary processing of components weighing up to 5 tonnes using laser deposition welding in Weißkirchen/Traun.
- Mobile service for heavy, large components.
What are the advantages of a laser cladding repair?
- Precise repairs instead of new parts: damaged surfaces are restored with dimensional accuracy and low distortion.
- Greater wear and corrosion resistance: For a longer service life of your components.
Highest coating quality and NO chipping: Thanks to many years of experience and robot-controlled welding processes
- Economical alternative to new production: Laser deposition welding offers significant cost and time savings with full functionality.
- Component-optimised application: Laser application only where it makes technical and economic sense.

FAQ - Laser metal deposition
What is laser metal deposition?
Laser cladding is a coating process. Laser radiation is used to create a molten pool and melt additional metal powder. This allows metallic components to be repaired or refined.
What are the advantages of laser cladding over conventional repair methods?
By minimising heat input, components remain dimensionally stable and distortion-free. This means that damaged components can be reconditioned cost-effectively and to the highest quality.
Which materials can be processed with laser metal deposition?
Typical materials are steel, Cr-Ni steel, cast iron, aluminium and bronze. Depending on the requirements, different powder alloys are used as filler materials.
